Zynga’s CafeWorld Gets 8.6 Million Users in One Week
One of the fastest growing applications on Facebook has been FarmVille, a Zynga production. Farmville’s growth is soon to be overshadowed by a new Zynga application, CafeWorld.
Farmville grew to 11 million daily active users over the course of two months, but CafeWorld, according to a report today by Eric Eldon over at Inside Facebook, has grown to a total of 8.6 million users in a single week!
It’s fantastic to see Mark Pincus’ venture come to fruition after meeting him in the early days. When I spoke to him in early 2008 (grab the MP3), Zynga was only the 10th largest app organization on Facebook, hot on the heels of a $10 million funding round led by Union Square Ventures.
