Gizmodo notes incredulously: Chrome OS is released.
The post, for whatever reason, is not online anymore, but was made just a few hours ago this morning.

If you look at the system requirements, you can see the major differences between that and all other available OS’s at the moment, and our analysis that this *isn’t* an affront on Mac or Windows is validated. More analysis to come.
Update: It’s clear why Gizmodo took down the post now… at the bottom of the download page in tiny print is: “Chrome OS is not related to Google. Service provided by SUSE Studio. See the license.”
