Apple to Turn on iAds July 1st

image Steve Jobs, in his WWDC speech today unveiled that iAds would be turned on and available for all developers by July 1st on all iOS devices.

“We have only been selling iAds for 8 weeks,” said Jobs. “But our clients already include: Citi, Unilever, AT&T, Chanel, GE, Liberty Mutual, State Farm, Geico, Campbell’s, Sears, JC Penny, Target, Best Buy, Direct TV, TBS, Disney.”

Jobs flaunted the rapid integration process of iAds with existing apps, saying iAds could be integrated in “an afternoon.”
