HP and IBM Bring On New Employees Across the Globe

Hewlett Packard announced that it would employ 120 people skilled in high-technology and speaking foreign languages, such as French, Italian and German.

One day before HP’s announcement, IBM, the American counterpart currently employing 3,000 people in Ireland, stated that it would move 190 jobs in the server domain to Shenzhen in China.

The two leading American technology companies, Intel and IBM, reported expansion plans and the computer industry is due to list substantial gain in the third quarter of 2010 therefore the interests of both consumers and investors will be retrieved.

Both HP and IBM showed strong revenue from their Q3 results this week, indicating an ongoing interest in the tech industry from consumers and investors.  The expansion of offices is a going trend right now; Intel’s readying new facilities in Oregon as well.  More on Intel’s $8 billion investment here.
