Allmyapps Public Beta: The First Ever Independent Application Store for Windows

Boasting ease, simplicity, and speed, Allmyapps today announced the availability of Allmyapps public beta for users to discover, manage, download, and purchase favorite Windows applications. You can also share your favorite applications with friends, colleagues, and family through e-mail and your social networks.

When you buy an app off Allmyapps, applications are automatically updated and can be re-downloaded without repayment, as well as uninstalled with a few clicks. Allmyapps allows anyone to install applications of their choice minus the annoying spyware, ads, and viruses. Users can also browse for specific application categories, read reviews, launch web apps, and download free and low cost applications.

“With over 50,000 users worldwide, Allmyapps is the first independent application solution designed to simplify the Windows application experience,” said Allmyapps Co-founder Thibauld Favre, “Featuring a mobile friendly interface for tablets, laptops and netbooks, Allmyapps enables Windows users to find and purchase the best online and downloadable applications.”

The application store is also for Windows Phone users, and one of the few third party portals for managing apps on Windows Phones. Given the recent launch of Windows Phone 7’s operating system, Allmyapps has good timing, but it still remains to be seen how the economy will eventually build around Windows Phone apps.
