Appceletaror’s New Double-Sized Team Preps for the Mobile Future
Appcelerator‘s got a few new team members on board; a good indication that the company is on the up-and-up. A top platform for rapidly developing native mobile, desktop and iPad applications, Appcelerator has doubled its team, leading notably with two key figures – kinky Clark and Trenton Truitt. This drive for enhancement in size functioned for various departments, including sales, engineering, professional services, support and marketing.
“Appcelerator has rapidly grown its customer base over the past year and we have increasingly focused on becoming a full application solutions provider that now offers Appcelerator Titanium-powered solutions for mobile commerce, geo-location, media, social, analytics and more,” said Jeff Haynie, CEO of Appcelerator. “With this growth and transition comes the need for veteran sales and engineering executives who will help us expand into new markets and provide the highest level of technical and development support for new and existing services.”
Within the Sales, Trenton Truitt will bring his wealth of experience gained throughout EMC’s Information Intelligence Group, Documentrum, Asera or Parametric Technology Corporation. On the other side, the technical and development support if services and pre-sales at Appcelerator will be led by Kincy Clark. Before joing Appcelerator team, Clark held senior operations roles at DHAP Digital, Insevo, and Apsylog/Peregrine, among others. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.
Appcelerator has more than doubled in size since the end of November. Beyond the new executive management hires, the company is adding staff in engineering, sales, professional services, support, and marketing. Appcelerator expects to continue its growth spurt to keep pace with ongoing demand for intuitive, feature-rich applications for mobile, tablet and desktop platforms.
