This concept powers Xiotech, a company that shatters binary solutions and offers ground-breaking hybrid ISE or Intelligent Storage Element.  Showing immense potential in bringing high performance solutions to the table, Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC) tested Xiotech’s ability to deliver at least 60,000 I/O Operations per second on the company’s ISE. They primarily looked into eliminating bottlenecks in the system, and the result was stunning, with MPSC heralding Xiotech as their first unbreakable storage system.

The senior director of the MPSC explained the purpose of testing and was elated with the upshot of the experiment, saying, “MPSC hardware testing projects are designed to put maximum stress on systems so customers can have the utmost confidence in deploying them in support of business critical functions. In such a demanding context, Xiotech Hybrid ISE performed beyond our wildest expectations with its HDD SSD solution that we tested.”

He further provided insight on how the organization sees Xiotech as one of the emerging key players in the industry saying, “Where most hybrid storage systems have underperformed before, we felt like we hardly put a dent in the Hybrid ISE performance potential. We estimate it would take an increase of workload by a factor of 10 to push the Hybrid ISE we tested to its actual performance threshold. We are looking forward to deploying it in the MPSC cloud environment as our Tier 1 storage solution.”

Xiotech is one of the youngest veterans in this area. Just last May, they garnered a series of recognitions from various bodies citing their hybrid cloud as breakthrough and crowd favorite. The company has also launched a simplified VDI solution for Citrix by way of its hybrid ISE.
