WriteRoom Tops This Week’s iPad, Android Tablet Business Apps
This week’s featured app is WriteRoom. The app offers a minimalistic interface with plenty of functionality, and does its job well. It provides a distraction-free zone for the user to write down his or her thoughts on paper on-the-go, and is handy for both the creative types, and the users that need a reliable note-taking application.
iPad
The app offers breathing room for your creativity, making the most of the real-estate on the iPad’s display. It provides customization in the form of changeable fonts and colors to make the user as comfortable and possible, while including Dropbox integration – among other things- to keep your documents folder clutter-free.
CloudOn is a remote hosting app that allows users to run Office on or rather from their iPad, on the developer’s end, and leverage all of the functionalities that are included in Microsoft’s popular software suite.
Contact Capture is a productivity/time saving app of sorts that saves the user some typing and tapping. The app automatically captures contact information such as email addresses from any type of document or webpage including search engine results and spreadsheets. It also included third party tech that enables you to save contacts in any number of different formats.
Android
Moxier is a professional email client optimized for both Android smartphones and Android tablets. It requires a license to connect to Microsoft Exchange, but lives up to the expectation with a smooth and to-the-point interface and a smart look.
PrinterShare is another remote printing app that enables you to print documents on the go without a PC or Mac. It can also share files to printers already connected to a network supporting either one (or both) of the OSs. PrinterShare connects to a number of services, including Google Docs.
