“I no longer have to tell people I can’t do something.” ServiceNow Removes the Limitations Barrier
Neil Laufenberg, Senior Manager of IT Service Management with FICO, attended the ServiceNow Knowledge13 conference and joined theCube with Dave Vellante to talk about his experience with ServiceNow. Laufenberg begins by stating the problem is no longer if he can do something, but how long it will take him to do it.
“The thing I love most about the ServiceNow platform is I no longer have to tell people I can’t do something.”
Instead of only being a system as a service (SaaS), Laufenberg considers ServiceNow more of a platform as a service (PaaS). He feels that there are three veins that PaaS is following. One that is provided to make your job functions easier thru a workflow angle, one that takes diverse infrastructures and sees how they can be provisioned at the level above the platform, and lastly one that hinges on software development and making application design easier.
