Resource Guide for Hadoop Summit North America 2013
Hortonworks and Yahoo! invite you to attend the Hadoop Summit North America 2013 on June 26-27 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA.
The two-day event will feature many of the Apache Hadoop thought leaders, such as Bruno Fernandez-Ruiz–Senior Fellow & VP Platforms at Yahoo, Eric Baldeschwieler–CTO at Hortonworks, Jer Thorp–Artist, Educator, Thinker, Co-founder of The Office Research, and an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s ITP program, Merv Adrian–Research VP at Gartner, Quentin Clark–Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Data Platform, Scott Gnau–President of Teradata Labs, Shaun Connolly – VP Corporate Strategy at Hortonworks, Sky Christopherson – Entrepreneur & Athlete, and other session speakers who will showcase successful Hadoop use cases, share development and administration tips and tricks, and educate organizations about how best to leverage Apache Hadoop as a key component in their enterprise data architecture.
Hadoop Summit is also an excellent networking event for developers, architects, administrators, data analysts, data scientists and vendors interested in advancing, extending or implementing Apache Hadoop.
Interested parties can still pre-register online until June 21st, after which, all passes will be sold onsite until supplies last. Passes come in two variants, an all access pass and an all access pass + training.
All access pass includes all sessions from Wednesday to Thursday, all keynotes, access to the Expo Hall, networking reception, all on-site networking events, access to the Hadoop Summit Party on Wednesday evening, Continental Breakfast and Lunch for Wednesday and Thursday, and Alumni discount for the 2014 Hadoop Summit. The all access+training pass includes all the things mentioned above plus 1-Day or 2-Day training class (Monday and Tuesday for 2-Day class) (Tuesday for 1-Day Class), Breakfast and Lunch during training class.
