It can be controlled using your smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher, or iOS 6.0 or higher. GE and Quirky has also started selling Aros, a smart air conditioning unit, on Amazon for $300.

Udderly clever wearable tech solutions
Google Glass isn’t meant for spying, and its blinking green light is a dead giveaway. If you’re looking for something less obvious, check out the Epiphany Eyewear, priced at $299. The unit has its own hipster appeal, and the camera is strategically placed on the rim of the eyeglass.

BlackBerry’s revival may rely on connected cars
Though consumers have snubbed BlackBerry’s touchscreen smartphone offerings, there may still be hope for the Canadian company as car manufacturers such as Ford, Porsche, and BMW have chosen its QNX mobile platform for use in their infotainment systems. BlackBerry is known for keepings its devices secured, and this may be exactly what connected cars need to address security concerns with regards to data being collected from driver activity.
