Yacuna Direct makes Bitcoin buying hassle-free
UK-based cryptocurrency exchange Yacuna Ltd. has launched a new service designed to let people acquire digital currencies like Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Litecoin without any of the usual hassle.
Called Yacuna Direct, the service provides a user-friendly platform that allows newcomers to buy Bitcoins directly from SOFORT Banking at a fixed price while also eliminating the tedious verification process.
“Many of our customers told us they’d like to purchase bitcoins directly. They want to buy cryptocurrencies instantly, without sign-ups or verification processes and spend them directly for other goods. We are the first exchange to integrate this kind of service in our business,” Andrei Martchouk, CEO of Yacuna stated in an interview.
How it works
Yacuna is simple to use. First you need a Wallet for the cryptocurrency you want to purchase, or else create a Yacuna account which provides you with an individual wallet for all the coins you can buy at Yacuna Direct. After setting up your wallet, you need to select your desired digital currency, define how much you want to purchase, then provide Yacuna Direct with your wallet and email address.
The final step brings users to the payment page where bank account details are taken via SOFORT. You can expect to receive your cryptocurrency within 12 hours of the payment confirmation.
The service is currently available to customers in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland.
Because there’s verification process involved, the service has set a limit on how much cryptocurrency users can purchase each day. This is done to ensure frictionless transactions, but this limit can be waived when one uses a Yacuna account.
“In order to allow a frictionless shopping experience, we allow our customers to purchase the supported cryptocurrencies up to a limit of €100,” said Martchouk. “Of course you can purchase more than that with YacunaDirect, however it will require a registered account with Yacuna.com … We’re setting this limit to comply with the EU-regulation on e-money services.”
SOFORT currently accepts payments from seven European banks and is working on adding support for UK banks soon.
