Get your MacBook ports back with Hub+ for USB-C
When Apple unveiled its new MacBook, outrage followed at the fact that there was only one USB-C port on the device. If, like other MacBook users, you’ve been wondering how to connect your desktop monitor while charging your MacBook at the same time, Nonda Inc. has a solution for you. With the Hub+ for USB-C, they aim to give you back the MacBook ports you are accustomed to.
The sleek aluminum alloy hub has two USB-C ports, one SDCX card reader, one display port and three USB-A charging ports. It also has a built-in lithium ion battery that will charge any smartphone on the go. The company claims the Hub+ will give you an extra 2.5 hours talk time on an iPhone 6.
Using the Hub+, you can connect a monitor, charge you MacBook via the USB-C port and charge a mobile device via one of the USB-A ports – all at the same time.
Early bird backers on Kickstarter can get one Hub+ and a bonus adapter for $79.
If you’re looking to add a little bling to your life, Nonda is also offering a 24k gold-plated version of the Hub+ engraved with your name or custom message for $3999.
The standard Hub+ is slated to ship in June while the gold-plated version ships in July.
