Walmart to launch Cyber Monday on Sunday night with great range of tech deals
Walmart Stores, Inc., have announced that Cyber Monday is now Cyber Sunday night with its traditional online specials being brought forward a day.
The retailer will begin offering Cyber Monday deals starting this Sunday, November 29, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern in an attempt to capture shoppers looking for great Cyber Monday deals before they return to work on the Monday.
“It can be exhausting for working parents and millennials to stay up past midnight to shop online, only to wake up early the next day to get ready for work,” Walmart President and Chief Executive Officer Fernando Madeira said in a statement.
“By starting ‘Cyber Monday’ hours earlier on Sunday evening and quadrupling the number of Cyber Monday specials, we’re making it easier for customers to get ahead of the busiest online shopping day of the year and save on the best gifts,” he added.
Heading the top of the Walmart Cyber Monday list is an LG 65-inch 4K television for $799, a saving of over $500 and a remarkable price if you’re old enough to remember a few years back when televisions this big were often thousands of dollars.
Tablet lovers don’t me out with Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 going on sale for $599 (a $200 savings).
Drones are in this year with the Walmart Cyber Monday deals offering a great starter drone by way of the Air Hogs Video Drone for only $75.
Other deals include the 500GB Xbox One Gears of War white combo for $299.96, a Nextbook Flex 32GB 8.9 inch Windows 10 tablet for $99.99, a Toshiba Windows 10 laptop (size unclear) for $179, Beats Solo On-Ear headphones for $99 and a Sony Playstation 4 Star Wars value bundle for $399.
Once available at 8pm Sunday all of Walmart’s Cyber Monday deals can be found via the link.
