Adobe Premiere Clip comes to Android: Video editing on the go just got easier
Adobe Premiere Clip makes creating videos on the go simple. Up until now, only iOS users have enjoyed this video editing tool. That has now changed with the announcement that Premiere Clip is coming to Android.
The Android version of Adobe Premiere Clip is free and enjoys all the same features of the iOS version, which the company released in October last year.
Seamless video creation on Android
There is no need to be a video editing guru, Adobe Premiere Clip allows you to easily assemble your clips or photos in the order that you want, remove parts you do not want and add various lighting, transition and slow motion effects. Add some music to your video by choosing from your personal music selection or choose from one of the stock soundtracks available on the app. The only thing left to do is share your latest creation with your friends on various social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
If you want to do some additional editing to your video, you can send it through to Premiere Pro CC on your desktop. On your desktop, you will have all your markers and edits from the app, but it is in Premiere Pro CC that you will be able to push the editing further. However, unlike premiere Clip, which is free, you will need a subscription for Premiere Pro CC to continue with your additional editing.
Allow Premiere Clip to do all the work for you
If going through the process of creating your video seems like too much for you, you can select Premiere Clip to do all the work for you. Select your soundtrack, the pace of the soundtrack and the app will go to work setting your images to the beat of the music. Once complete you can go ahead and share it with your friends.
Android users can download the free version of Adobe Premiere Clip in the Play Store now and can start creating and sharing videos with their friends. To download Premiere Clip, you will need Android 4.4 or higher.
Watch Premiere Clip 2.0 in action in the video below. This video was created when the iOS version received a major update back in October, but all the same features have made the move over to the Android version of Premiere Clip 1.0 for Android.
