Oracle OpenWorld 2016: How to watch live, exclusive interviews from theCUBE | #oow16

Some 60,000 people will flock to Oracle OpenWorld 2016, hosted by Oracle Corp., starting today to find out what’s next for one of the world’s largest software companies.

Among a spate of announcements, Oracle is expected to introduce both the second generation of its Infrastructure as a Service cloud offering and the release of its newest database version first in the cloud.

Oracle’s strong focus on cloud sees more than 400 sessions at OpenWorld, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, focusing on the company’s various cloud technologies. Despite its late entry into cloud computing, Oracle’s first-quarter earnings, reported last week, revealed healthy revenue growth in its cloud segments.

At the 20th annual OpenWorld, the company will likely discuss how it will integrate recent acquisitions. To help bolster its cloud business, Oracle has focused on key acquisitions over the last few months, including those of LogFire, NetSuite and Opower.

SiliconANGLE will be at this year’s Oracle OpenWorld with exclusive interviews from SiliconANGLE Media‘s video news desk, theCUBE.
