Israeli enterprise cybersecurity training startup CybeReady raises $5M
Israeli enterprise autonomous cybersecurity training platform startup CybeReady Learning Solutions Ltd. today said it has raised $5 million in funding and announced its entry into the North American market.
The funding, its first after bootstrapping operations in Europe for four years, came from Baseline Ventures. The funding will be used to support immediate opportunities to drive North America business growth and scale the company.
Founded in 2015, CybeReady uses data science-powered training said to offer next-level, adaptive learning methodology that guarantees change in employee behavior toward phishing attacks. The company’s platform includes human learning automation that allows employees to train year-round so they can advance and adapt their skills to match real-world phishing attacks as they evolve.
By leveraging data science and machine learning, CybeReady said, it can guarantee behavioral change in employees not only for a short-term basis but throughout the year and beyond. The company claims that its scientific approach to cybersecurity awareness training increases employees’ resilience score by five times on average.
CybeReady’s solution is fully managed, and it claims it offers the lowest total cost of ownership available today.
“The increasing gap between demand for effective cybersecurity training and dated products is mind-blowing,” said Shlomi Gian, chief executive officer of CybeReady. “Vendors ignore the disturbing fact that the majority of data breaches start with emails and keep promoting solutions that do not change employee behavior.”
CybeReady enters the North American market with hundreds of customers in Europe already to its name. Existing customers range from financial institutions and insurance companies to healthcare and governmental organizations in 35 languages and 66 countries.
