Happy New Year

2009 was the year SiliconANGLE was born. What a great year. In our first 10 month of existence we managed to produce over 1100 posts reaching over 600,000+ unique users. What’s more exciting is the engaged group of contributors. At the beginning I felt that a healthy goal was to have maybe 20 contributors in the first year. As we close out our first 10 months we have over 100 contributors posting in depth opinion and analysis on technology trends, mobile, and social media.

A Happy New Year to the SiliconANGLE community and supporters. I wanted to extend a warm and happy new year to all of the readers and contributors.

THANKS TO EVERYONE who made SiliconANGLE.com a growing and vibrant credible community.

We hope you have a happy, healthy, prosperous and productive 2010!

All the best,
John Furrier, Mark Hopkins, and the SiliconANGLE Labs team

Since you’re here …

… We’d like to tell you about our mission and how you can help us fulfill it. SiliconANGLE Media Inc.’s business model is based on the intrinsic value of the content, not advertising. Unlike many online publications, we don’t have a paywall or run banner advertising, because we want to keep our journalism open, without influence or the need to chase traffic. The journalism, reporting and commentary on SiliconANGLE — along with live, unscripted video from our Silicon Valley studio and globe-trotting video teams at theCUBE — take a lot of hard work, time and money. Keeping the quality high requires the support of sponsors who are aligned with our vision of ad-free journalism content.

If you like the reporting, video interviews and other ad-free content here, please take a moment to check out a sample of the video content supported by our sponsors, tweet your support, and keep coming back to SiliconANGLE.
