Zynga’s FishVille and CastleVille game lead manager joins myTab as cofounder
Scott Prelewicz, Senior Manager of Engineering at Zynga, has joined myTab as part of the founding team. With official ‘Top Tech Dawg’ title, Scott arrival comes with perfect timing as myTab has just launched their operation in the UK on 5th December.
As part of the founding team at myTab of all things technical, Scott will overseas the overall aspect of the firm growth. Scott has been a software engineer for 15 years working on a multitude of technologies. His stint as a Lead Engineer at Zynga saw him overseeing a team up to 35 people for globally renowned games including ChefVille, FrontierVille, FishVille and CastleVille. The gaming team spanned across San Francisco, India, Dallas, Baltimore and Oregon.

Under his leadership, the Zynga team had a stunning consistent track record of delivering results on time and with high quality and 100% productivity. He was also instrumental to introduce co-lead program at Zynga that allowed engineers to develop their skill sets. Scott has the expertise in Database and Systems Design, HTML5 & CSS3, JavaScript, Management, MySQL, PHP, Pair Programming, Perl, and Scaling Web Applications.
“At Zynga, I worked on a couple of games with CS to identify and solve key issues that were hindering user experience. From scoping efforts on multiple games to deliver the most engaging and fun experience possible for our loyal players, this led to a great success rate for both Zynga and our users. The experience I gained at Zynga will be widely implemented within myTab,” said Scott.
MyTab, the “social travel gift card” company, allows anyone to sign in with Facebook and create a holiday, honeymoon or any other trip plan that friends and family can fund. You can simply then redeem your funds towards travel, all within the website. The gift card platform also negotiate exclusive deals on behalf of their customers.
