New smart devices to keep track of your things

This week’s SmartDevice roundup features a connected devices that help you keep track of your things and find them if ever they get lost or misplaced.

SmartWallit Pro

 .

SmartWallit Pro is a device that you put inside your wallet, luggage or purse so you’ll never leave it behind again.  It is an upgraded version of the SmartWallit, with a thinner design, and has new features such as a No Disturb Mode, Lost Location Map, Cloud Synchronization, more warning sounds, distance view, reminder of luggage approaching, and even a longer battery life.

SmartWallit Pro comes with a free app for your smartphone and connects using Bluetooth 4.0.  You just open the app and it automatically connects to the SmartWallit Pro.  Using the app, you can see when and where you last had your wallet or luggage, use it to make the device ring and figure out where your stuff is.  It can also be used to remind you not to leave your wallet or phone behind.  If you leave your wallet, your phone will ring; if you leave your phone, your wallet will ring.  The SmartWallit Pro can even keep track of your expenses so you can see where your money goes.

SenseGiz Find

 .

From the makers of Star, a device that alerts your emergency contacts if you’ve been in an accident, SenseGiz has a new product that lets you keep track of your things.  Find is a small device that you can stick or tie to anything – bags, pets, keys, or anything you don’t want to lose.

Much like any other tracker, it connects with a smartphone app via Bluetooth 4.0 so you can keep track of your belongings, or your phone, as Find sets off a buzzer if your phone if left behind.  What differentiates it from other connected trackers is that it’s battery is user replaceable, waterproof, you can track multiple devices using Find, let family members use it, and you can even do a manual search for your lost items using the app on your phone.

Bringrr

Bringrr is a device that you plug into your car and reminds you if you’ve left something before you leave.  This is where BringTags come to play.  BringTags are small Bluetooth enabled devices which the Bringrr scans for when you start your engine.  You can put BringTags on your keys, laptop, wallet, and even pets.  Using the mobile app, you can program which BringTags Bringrr needs to scan for when you start your car so you never have to turn around because you forgot something.

You can use BringTags to track your pets to know if they went out of range and use the Bringrr app to track your pet’s whereabouts or see if the any in the Bringrr community has found Fido or Felix.

Another cool feature of Bringrr is that it utilizes your synced calendar.  You can mark events on a synced calendar and tell Bringrr what you need to bring for that particular event so when that day finally comes, you won’t forget anything.
