Sneak Peek: Windows 7 Slate and Windows Phone 7

image For those of you who don’t think Microsoft is worth paying any attention to the fact that their Worldwide Partner Conference is happening in Washington DC probably couldn’t care less that a whole line of upcoming slates running Windows 7 was announced.

However for those of you who do this is pretty good news because up until this point we just had elusive statements letting us know that Microsoft considered the slate market an important one they intended to be a part of.

The WMPoweruser blog was lucky enough to have some-one at the keynote speech by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer where he talked about the slate market and Microsoft’s place in it. The real bonus though was that WMPoweruser was able to grab a video of a demo with the Hanvon Slate running Windows 7.

As an added bonus WMPoweruser also had a video of a movie app being run on a WP7 phone.
