3 must-have Apple Watch fitness apps for a six pack and firmer butt

Runtastic has a range of more than 15 health and fitness apps that work across the spectrum of mobile devices. The company’s apps have been downloaded more than 120 million times and it has over 60 million registered users. Given those numbers, you are probably in good hands using their apps to manage your health and fitness goals. If you are already using the Apple Watch’s health and fitness features, you may want to add a few targeted fitness apps to your arsenal.

Three of Runtastic most popular apps are now available or the new wearable:

Runtastic App

Aimed at sports and fitness activities, the Runtastic app lets you track your running, biking, walking and more. With Runtastic for Apple Watch, you can view real-time statistics like speed, distance, duration, pace, and calories burned onscreen while exercising.

You can review your Runtastic stats, such as number of activities, distance covered, duration of completed activities, calories burned, and how many cheers you received directly on the Watch.

Runtastic Six Pack App

Work your core with help from lifelike avatars on your wrist in the Runtastic Six Pack app for Apple Watch. You can select from a range of exercises across three difficulty levels. The app contains pre-defined workouts, including the 7-Minute Workout, or you can create your own custom workout plan from a catalogue of exercises, including sit-ups, planks, mountain climbers, leg raises and more.

The app lets you monitor your training plan progress, including level, training day and next training day and time directly from the Watch. The avatar provides demonstrations of each exercise and you can set notifications to start a set or set a “recover now” notification that manages your rest periods and ensures you start the next set on time.

Runtastic Butt Trainer

Similarly to the Runtastic Six Pack app, the Runtastic Butt Trainer for Apple Watch uses lifelike avatars to guide you through training plans and standalone exercises – as the name suggests, exercises in this app are focused on giving you a more fit and toned butt.

Now you can stop fumbling with your iPhone and get on with training.
