Can’t watch Super Bowl 50 the traditional way? It can be streamed live on mobile devices, set top boxes and even game consoles. Read on for more details. 

Super Bowl 50 (not L but 50), will kickoff at 6:30 PM ET on February 7, 2016 at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

This year the Denver Broncos will be facing off with the Carolina Panthers. The Broncos will be gunning for its third Vince Lombardi Trophy while the Panthers could make history and bring it home for the very first time.

From cheering on your favorite team to watching the halftime show which will feature Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé, and of course the commercials, a football fan or not, there are so many reasons to watch this year’s Super Bowl.

The question now is where to watch it?

If you want to see the game in person, you’ll be out of luck in that department unless you have $6,000 for tickets, a steep price that’s sure to skyrocket as the big game draws near. Your other option is to live stream the game from CBSSports.com using the browser on your computer or via the iOS, Android or Windows app on a tablet, or via apps on the Xbox One, Apple TV, Chromecast, or Roku.

Smartphone users might think this limited set up is a bit unfair, but the NFL and other vendors have a licensing agreement that live streaming the game is only available for computers and tablets, unless you’re an eligible Verizon Wireless subscriber. If you are eligible, you can watch the game via the official NFL Mobile app.

Other options

If you’re not into live streaming the game you can always purchase a powerful antenna like Mohu‘s (Greenwave Scientific, Inc.) Curve, Leaf or Sky. If you’re streaming the game using your laptop and also hosting a Super Bowl party, you might want to invest in a Mohu BeBox.
