Far-reaching organizations that recommend Cloudera’s technologies are from very different backgrounds: from financial services, government and website to telecommunications.
The managing director of Meritech Capital Partners, Rob Ward stresses the usefulness of such a demanding platform as Cloudera Enterpise for the developing amount of data that companies world-wide are gathering "(…)Enterprises will continue to produce massive amounts of data and Hadoop is proving to be critical to making sense of that data.”
Knowing that the fast paced developing rate of Cloudera’s software and services is asking for investments and consolidation, “Meritech’s investment helps us advance our offerings and satisfy the high demand we’re seeing.” – says Mike Olson, CEO of Cloudera.
Meritech Capital Partners has an impressive portfolio of leading investments into companies that proven to have an accelerated market share, used differentiated technologies and have sustainable revenues. Facebook, Fortinet, Fusion-IO, Greenplum, Netezza, NetSuite, Riverbed, Salesforce.com, SpringSource and TeleAtlas are just few of them.
