Nexus Joining the Vblock Partner Ecosystem
Network solutions provider Nexus today announced it’s joining the Vblock partners circulation. The company now qualifies to augment, resell, and deliver VCE’s Vblock™ platform, whose creation involved Cisco, EMC, VMware and Intel.
“The integrated nature of the Vblock platform reduces the time-consuming and costly planning, architecting and testing phases of deployment. In their NexSteps Innovation Lab, Nexus can offer in-person or remote demonstrations of the features and benefits of this integrated strategy.”
VBlock is indeed a great addition to Nexus, as the company has already installed the platform in NexSteps Innovation Lab and production environment. Vblock is a leading IT infrastructure platform combining modern virtualization, networking, computing, storage, security, and management technologies with vendor dependability, which in turn translates into high value for partners.
In addition to the Vblock platform overall, others, including desktop monitoring solutions provider Liquidware Labs, there are many benefits of individual VMware products. The company has also launched a virtual user management and migration offering called ProfileUnity. ProfileUnity delivers user-based provisioning of VMware ThinApp virtualized applications to virtual and physical machines.
“ProfileUnity, combined with the integration of application deployment, user entitlement and license tracking, enables VMware ThinApp users to implement application delivery to specific user profiles and track license usage in a less time… Liquidware Labs additionally offers features for assessment and planning of migrating physical applications to virtualized applications.”
ProfileUnity offers deployment, caching, and removable options for ThinApp virtualized machines in two modes, both online and offline.
