Egenera Launches Partner Network Program to Simplify Solutions
Multinational converged infrastructure company, Egenera launches a Partner Program to inflate their coverage on channel sales of open converged infrastructure and unified computing products. This program is geared to benefit partners with the promise of broadening access to converged infrastructure, simplifying solutions and cost savings for customers. Egenera also committed to provide proper education, trainings, reference architectures, sales support and demand creation to partners.
Chief Operating Officer, Jim Bandanaza relates to the public the vision of Egenera and how this launch would create a difference with partnerships they have built with enterprises over the years. He said, “Egenera believes the channel plays a critical role in providing enterprises with choice and quality support for their unified computing needs. Our partner program leverages the channel for converged infrastructure and unified computing rollouts, putting customers in the driver’s seat so they can make the decisions as to their choice of server, virtualization and storage vendors, while also selecting which system integrators and value-added resellers they want to engage with.”
A thrilled Joel Salamone, President of StorageHawk said in an interview: “We are excited to join the Egenera Partner Network. Our federal customers look to us to design and implement tier 1 availability, disaster recovery and virtualization solutions. Egenera delivers a simple-to-use, multi-platform approach, with considerable value-add.” StorageHawk is a government and commercial IT solutions provider.
This yet another breakthrough product from Egenera Inc. is expected to be a hit especially that they are again tying up with VCE. An article posted in SiliconAngle recently showed the spur in growth of Egenera profits in Q3 that was attributed to sound partnerships. The Egenera Partner is open to VARs or value-added resellers and system integrators or Sis worldwide.
