Before 5200 attendees, the two most discussed Apple systems worldwide saw fulfillment today at the WWDC 2011. iOS 5 and the new iCloud graced center spotlight at the annual event for developers and users as Apple unveils their new features, interesting details and release dates of these services. Expectations of the Apple WWDC 2011 were enumerated by Maria Deustcher of SiliconANGLE.com in her article—which all surfaced during the event.

Over a thousand Apple engineers were floating around the venue to conduct sessions and entertain questions.

During the early part of the day, Apple chooses to make a counterpunch Android and readily revealed the iOS 5. Stakes are high for both mobile operating system owners, obviously. Boasting over 200 new features, iOS 5 may just be deserving of all the hype it’s garnered these past few weeks. The revamped mobile operating system will include improved notifications services where you do not only see frequent pop-ups every time there’s a new mail or message, but will pop-up on top of the monitor display or collect series of notifications and allow these to be accessed even on the lock screen. Twitter also appeared to be something relevant in the development of iOS 5. This level of Twitter integration allows users to take pictures and post these or “tweet” real-time. These two notable elements may sound familiar to you and you might even call it “Droid-esque” and “Blackberry-esque.”  iOS will be released this fall.

Aside from iOS 5, Apple is living the iCloud dream. The anticipation for this tool is inevitably mounting. The company has recently signed major record labels for this deal, greatly enhancing its music service compatibility. Rates suggest that it will be around $25 per year for the new iTunes Match service, which finds songs you’ve ripped inside iTunes, and even uploads the ones it can’t match–something we never expected from the stringent, walled-garden Apple iTunes.  Photos, files and music management and access are a matter that this app hopes to resolve.

Apple also announced Game Center changes at WWDC, competing with platforms such as Facebook and Xbox for centralized gaming services spanning the cloud and social achievements.  Apple MAC OS X Lion is the newest addition to the Mac OS X portfolio, and was debuted earlier this year, with plenty of recap today, along with a launch date set for next week.

The tech community saw three groundbreaking tech events today: HP Discover 2011, Dell Storage Forum 2011 and Apple WWDC 2011. But perhaps, after today, more will be talking about Apple’s new products and services. WWDC is also the most comprehensive conference among the rest on a customer standpoint.
