Microsoft Calling for Beta Testers for the New Xbox Metro-Style dashboard
Metro is permeating through just about every product in Microsoft’s arsenal and word came out during the last week that even the Xbox 360 would be getting a Metro
make-over. According to the rumor, Microsoft was supposed to start taking beta tester applications in pretty short order so that the new Xbox 360 user interface could be put through its paces.
Well, according to reports out today it seems that the call has indeed gone out, and you can now sign up to beta test the new Metro Xbox dashboard that we are all supposed to be getting sometime in November.
This is coming right on the heels of the interesting announcement that Microsoft was cutting deals with content producers like Bravo, HBO, SyFy and Comcast to bring live TV content to the Xbox.
So, if you would like to be one of the beta testers for the new Xbox Metro user interface you should head over to the sign-up page and try your luck.
