Google To Provide Free WiFi Virgin America For The Holiday
Today, Google announced a partnership with Virgin Air to provide free WiFi on the plane.
Free WiFi on the plan. Yes. Google is doing it’s best to make sure more people are searching and using web apps. This makes total sense. Except there is a fatal flaw to mass adoption. It’s a short term promotion not permanent. Increase the leg and laptop room.
My “outside the box” idea Angle: Google should have users opt-in for a “Internet Business Class” service. All monetization from my surfing habits on google would go toward the financing of a Google airline. Or Google could finance the re-engineering of the airline’s planes to accommodate more room to actually do work with the WiFi.
If Google doesn’t do it then it’s an opportunity for Bing.
